Resort area is 148,000 square meters (450,000 square meters) and the amusement park area is about 300,000 square meters. It is located 7km away from south of Seoul and 35km away from Yeongdong Expressway junction In April 1976, it is opened as Yongin Nature Park which is Korea's first family park. In 1977, it was selected as the national tourist attraction of Gyeonggi Province (Selection No. 15), and then changed the name as Everland in March 1996.

It is classified into five theme areas: 'American Adventure', 'Magic Land', 'European Adventure', and 'Jupitia' according to the characteristics of various play facilities and spaces including 'Global Fair', which is a theme of major cities around the world. Tulips, roses and other seasonal flower gardens, Snow Buster which is the longest sledding slope in Korea, and Aesop Village which is a theme zone on the subject of Aesop's fables. In particular, the world's only complex combination of herbivores and beasts Safari, 'Safari World', is famous

The Everland Resort is composed of a large water park named as 'Caribbean Bay' and a motor park named as 'Speedway', an accommodation in natural named as 'Home Bridge' and comprehensive sports lawn stadium named as 'Activa Park'. In addition, other cultural and sport facilities are also available such as Hoam Art Museum, Samsung Transportation Museum.
